Passports for children obtained at satellite post office.  In Houston, main passport office downtown is now dedicated to last-minute (14 day pre-travel) passport requests.  Routine passport issuance handled at designated offices around Houston.  Nearest one to our neighborhood was Bellaire, with limited hours.  Had to wait forever.  Can make an appointment.  Passport fee is 25.00 per child + 15.00 per USPS fee = 40.00 each x 2.  Cash or check only.
